Virginia Commonwealth University Institute for Contemporary Art
NXL, a Kleinfelder Company provided surveying services for the new Virginia Commonwealth University Institute of Contemporary Art.
The project consisted of construction stakeout surveys for the installation of glass panels. NXL established and verified horizontal and vertical controls and performed stakeout for glass panel locations. The team verified existing first floor marks established by others and performed first floor offset evaluations at each opening. Further, NXL used an ongoing quality assurance program that involved all persons working on the project, including field crew chiefs, survey, and CAD technicians.
