Century provided MEP design and construction administration services for Studio 3807, which won a USGBC Maryland Leader Award in the “Innovative Design, Residential” category at the 2020 Wintergreen Awards Celebration. Congratulations to our team and all involved with this great project!
Sustainable Features
Century made use of a dedicated outdoor air system, equipped with energy recovery to provide the ventilation needs for the building. Each unit received its own outside air and exhaust from the central system. Primary conditioning was provided through the use of high efficiency heat pumps. Other sustainable components of the design include low flow, water sense labeled plumbing fixtures, and energy star labeled lighting fixtures. These elements that were incorporated into the design that Century produced helped the project to obtain LEED Gold®.
