Located in southeastern Baltimore County, Honeygo Boulevard consisted of the design and preparation of multiple phased contract documents for 2.8 miles of new four lane urban arterial roadway, including 7 new intersections, 3,000 feet of relocated side roads, and 1,200 feet of US Route 1 widening. Honeygo Boulevard provides a significant roadway link for commuters from Harford County to White Marsh and I-95 and provides relief to local county roads located in the Perry Hall / Honeygo development areas.

• Preparation of NEPA/Section 404 document and permit application including the evaluation of the socioeconomic and natural resource impacts associated with the construction of roadway and sewer interceptor.
• Final roadway design included the development of roadway plans and profiles, typical sections, drainage plans/profiles, and maintenance of traffic plans.
• Preparation of wetland and stream restoration locations to serve as mitigation for natural environmental impacts including over 5 acres of new and enhanced wetlands and 2,300 feet of restored Honeygo Run.
• Extensive provisions were utilized for erosion and sediment control.
• Structures included a new 100-foot simple span steel beam pedestrian bridge and 27-foot by 10-foot bottomless steel arch.  The proposed arch utilizes corrugated steel plates and concrete foundations.  The structure was special due to its span length of 27 feet and required special monitoring during construction.
