Century Engineering provided survey, civil, geotechnical, structural, mechanical and electrical engineering services for its new headquarters. The 58,000 square foot 4-story and basement building utilizes natural daylight, exposed mechanical systems, and an open air environment to satisfy the necessary requirements for LEED^® Gold Certification. Both the shell, as well as the fit out will offer a visual and physical showcase of the value of building “green”.  The project has been awarded an 8% Green Building Tax Credit through the Maryland Energy Administration. Century also purchases 100% of its energy from Community Energy, Inc., a green power provider.
