Century provided structural, mechanical and electrical engineering services for this new, 885-bed, 4-story, wood-framed satellite student housing complex to meet the needs of the growing student population of the University. Phase I, which is currently under construction, includes three buildings that will provide 570 beds. Phase II, which consists of one building, will start construction in 2009 and will provide another 315 beds. Amenities include student laundry, study lounges, conference rooms and a fitness center.

• Preparing permit & construction drawings to meet an extremely aggressive schedule.
• Designing a wood-framed structure to comply with local building codes while remaining economical to construct.
• Designing elevated connecting links for circulation between buildings.
• Varying existing site grades that affected finished floor elevations and transitions between buildings.
