The project consisted of redesigning and upgrading an existing substandard single-lane bridge and roadway approaches in order to satisfy current design criteria. Design included a precast concrete arch structure with bridge parapets finished with a stone masonry veneer. The new two-lane approach roadway and bridge provide significant improvement in sight distance and overall safety. Century was tasked with providing a complete Design-Build package, including all permit coordination, right-of-way acquisition, archeological investigation, utility relocation coordination, public workshop coordination, and inspection.
