Century provided project management, inspection and construction engineering for the $700 million Route 13 Relief Route. This 46-mile long limited access toll road is the largest public work project in the history of Delaware. This project was comprised of 24 individual projects with construction cost ranging from $3 million to $57 million. This project consisted of:
- PCC roadways with asphalt shoulders
- Wetland mitigation
- Over 26.3 million yards of excavation and embankment
- Over 1.1 million tons of hot-mix.
- 15 structures over major highways, secondary roads, wetlands, streams, rivers and major structure over the C&D Canal
- Over 367,000 feet of piling
- Over 229,000 cubic yards of structure concrete
