Century prepared and submitted complete Civil engineering plans for the design of a new, one story, 7,100 square foot clubhouse to replace an existing clubhouse. In addition to the new clubhouse, a new pavilion at the existing event pad was sited.
Century amended the previously approved Development Plan to allow the replacement and expansion of the former clubhouse and the addition of an outdoor covered pavilion building with lavatory facilities. Design and plan preparation included Gravity Sewer and Water Extension Plans, Grading Plans, Stormwater Management Plans for two at-grade sandfilters that were designed to blend uniformly into the surrounding practice putting green. We also provided a vehicular drive-up bag drop-off, cart drive-up access and parking, and an outdoor patio overlooking the fairway. As part of the permitting process we successfully obtained a stormwater quantity management waiver and an approved sediment control plan.
- Blending two stormwater quality management surface sandfilters into the area immediately adjacent to the clubhouse thereby making them virtually unnoticeable.
- Obtaining a stormwater management quantity waiver for the new clubhouse and a new covered outdoor pavilion building.
- Providing public sanitary sewer and water extensions to new restrooms in the outdoor pavilion building.
- Grading the site such that the new clubhouse construction required minimal disturbance to the adjoining practice tee, entrance roadway, parking lot and cart path and ultimately appeared as though it had always been there.
