This project involved a new 17,000 square foot church designed for traditional Roman Catholic use with high ceilings and open wood truss construction. The civil engineering scope included the preparation of plans and specifications for site grading, sediment control, stromwater management, quantity and quality control, water main extension, sewer main extension and a storm drain system.
- Sanitary sewer needed extension offsite by a force main to connect to a public gravity system.
- Access to the site from Route 30 needed provisions for acceleration and deceleration lanes and a left turning lane, all to meet SHA standards.
- Outfalls for the stormwater management facilities were designed to meet the existing conditions so as not to create any downstream flooding.
