Century Engineering prepared conceptual plans for the redevelopment/expansion of the existing Virginia Towers residential site.  The project proposed two additional mixed use 11-story buildings with retail and office space on the 1st and 2nd floors, residential units above and a 3-story parking deck below.  Responsibilities included the siting, grading and parking decks.  The streetscape plan was designed with street trees, special pavers, benches, lighting and amenity areas.  

• Coordinating with architect to address severe grade changes.
• Coordinating with neighboring residential tower access easements and view sheds.
• Resolving above ground and below ground utility conflicts with streetscape proposals.
• Coordinating existing residential tower.
