This project involved the complete renovation of the 9,000 square foot building and needed expansion of the existing apparatus bay. The bay expansion was required to accommodate the County's larger, modernized firefighting vehicles. Under the renovation the building layout and functionality was reconfigured to better suit the needs of a modern fire company. New ADA restrooms were also provided. Project features include:

• Packaged and split HVAC systems
• Gas-fired radiant heaters in apparatus bays
• Upgraded gas distribution
• New sprinkler system
• Complete lighting upgrade
• Upgraded electrical distribution
• Provisions for portable generator
• New fire alarm system

• Phased construction of an occupied building requiring the identification of a viable "swing space".
