Although most electrical systems and equipment are generally out of sight, the proper design of these systems is critical as the building's mechanical systems and lighting cannot function without the proper capacity, and sometimes quality, of electric power. Although not as prevalent as in mechanical design, sustainability and "Green Design" are becoming more involved in electrical design as well. Century's Electrical Department has faced this new challenge through our continuing program for development of additional LEED® Accredited electrical staff.
