Century was retained to provide master planning assistance, civil engineering, landscape architecture, and electrical engineering to expand the amenities offered to guests at the existing Hotel Hershey, providing additional room choices for both individual and corporate guests and improving circulation and expanding parking on the 226-acre property.  The project achieved LEED^® Silver Certification and includes a new hotel entrance, new recreation area, year-round ice skating rink, multi-pool swimming complex with an infinity edge pool, 130 seat restaurant, 10 new luxury guest cottages, and one meeting cottage.

• Design in support of LEED^® Silver Certification of restaurant and cottages under multi-building/campus category.
• Insufficient domestic/fire water pressure required design of a pressure booster station to serve the new water supply system.
• Largest application of porous asphalt pavement approved, batched, and constructed in Central Pennsylvania.
• The volume of runoff leaving the site, pre to post, was reduced by approximately half.
• Converted entire campus power distribution network from multiple secondary points of service to a primary network from single consolidated point of service resulting in cost savings and added flexibility.
