Project Spotlights

Inner Harbor East Revitalization

Century was responsible for design and project oversight for three unique, Developer driven projects located within the Inner Harbor East Revitalization Area. These projects are an important link in the overall peripheral Inner Harbor promenade. Century utilized context sensitive design to blend the surrounding Inner Harbor East design elements into each project while providing Baltimore City Department of Transportation with quality, budget conscience designs.

The Exchange at Wheaton Station

Century provided Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing engineering services for this 870,000 SF mixed-use, LEED Silver Certified, high rise building. The site is comprised of a Safeway Store (56,000 SF), below grade parking (70,000 SF), a 3 level parking garage (185,000 SF) and 13 levels of apartments (550,000 SF). Each apartment includes two bedrooms, a full kitchen, living area and two bathrooms.  Other amenities for the site include: an outdoor pool (located on the 5th floor), an extensive “green roof,” and common areas including fitness and office space. A small retail space is located on the first floor.

Century Engineering Acquires Hoffman, Borowski and Associates

Century is pleased to announce our recent acquisition of Hoffman, Borowski and Associates, LLC, a professional consulting firm providing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering services.
